About me
Gabe Paley is the Assistant Secretary for Technology to Governor Kathy Hochul. Gabe advises on the Governor's technology agenda, and assists with oversight of the New York State Office of Information Technology Services (ITS).
He has led policy development in areas such as customer experience, IT modernization, and cybersecurity, and leads initiatives to improve the delivery of government services and benefits to New Yorkers.
Prior to joining the Hochul administration, Gabe was an NYC[x] Innovation Fellow in the Mayor's Office of the CTO, worked in data & analytics roles for multiple NYC-based startups, and helped develop the volunteer-led COVID vaccine appointment website, NYCVaccineList.com.
